Concepts / Ecology

Biology is the scientific study of life. Ecology is a branch of biology dedicated to the study of the relationships between living organisms, including humans, and their physical environment.

Ecology considers organisms at the individual, population, community, ecosystem, and biosphere level.

Ecology in the widest sense turns out to be the study of the interaction and survival of ideas and programs (i.e. differences, complexes of differences) in circuits. (Bateson, G. 1979)

From this perspective, we can explore and perhaps help nurture an ecology of mind.
